Born in New York, of French nationality. Lives and works in Paris. Graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts de Paris. Founded the agency an-ARCHI DESIGN in 1997. "Design is the spirit of matter. This for me is the passing of a frontier, from the design on paper (a dream) to the reality of the object. Its function gives it its form. This intimacy lifts the architectural space, from the relationship between the object, the piece of furniture and the person. It is a ladder. Design is my means of thinking, and of living." Anne-Charlotte Baudequin born in Grasse in 1995 and Mathieu Maldes born in Toulouse in 1992, met during their degrees in applied art/design at the University of Toulouse II—Jean Jaurès. After different masters, their collaboration becomes a permanent dialogue, nourished by their singularities, and their common passions. Following her bachelor in Toulouse, Anne-Charlotte Baudequin, specialises in sensory design with the validation of a master's degree in Creation Research and Innovation in Sensory and Food Design at ISCID (Higher Institute of Applied Arts, Colour Image Design). She is currently doing a doctorate in design (Allph@ doctoral school) with the following thesis project “Olfactory Sensory Design for an Anthropology of space”. She teaches olfactory design in collaboration with a perfumer at ISCID. Mathieu Maldes, after his degree in Toulouse and a master's degree in Transdisciplinary Design Cultures and Territories at the University of Toulouse II - Jean Jaurès, trained in photography at the ETPA school, where he explored the possible relationships between photography and design. It was after working for studios such as Studio Daguerre and Studio Jaspar in Paris that he decided to return to Toulouse with the desire to explore the know-how of the south of France. Their work, guided by a quest for simplicity, questions contemporary uses to develop possible or imaginary worlds. They are particularly interested in materials, sounds, smells, or gestures that offer new interactions and new experiences. This common vision allows them to consider creation as a work of research in motion on the sensory and poetic dimensions of everyday objects. By moving away from the principle of the pure shape as a purpose, their desires are to bring out intentions, links and common values. In 2019, their first project "Hestia" won the special mention of the Jury for the competition "Grand Sud: Enhance the granite of Sidobre". In 2021, they are the winners of the call for expressions of interest "New Worlds" launched by the Ministry of Culture where they propose the exploration of their sensory methodology in situ for the development of their project "Small inventions of the landscape ".

The projects we develop arise from a synthesis of our personal visions and sensibilities. Our intent is to develop objects that satisfy both the new demands arising from changing lifestyles and the consolidated needs of everyday life. In developing all our projects we aim to achieve simple solutions, both technical and formal, favouring the usability and legibility of the object. In this process, we reinterpret both traditional and innovative materials, allowing the resulting objects, when placed in their own context, to become discreet and gentle life companions. Usually our projects are the result of the reflection stimulated by a brief submitted to us by a company; they might equally be defined autonomously when we identify an opportunity; or even an unexpected intuition that emerges unpredictably. Having defined a concept, we develop it in many divergent directions then make a selection, which we then process and redefine in more detail. We always like to work with different types of products by collaborating with companies in different industry sectors, such as furniture, tableware and kitchenware, taps and ceramics, etc. We can define our approach to design as being rooted in Italy, but with a European flavour. In addition to the masters of Italian design, we owe a lot to the design of Continental Europe and Scandinavia.

He designs furniture with pure, clean lines which he hopes to charge with emotion . His collaborations with Ligne Roset and Cinna have brought him much success, as evidenced by his Finn chair and Mondo and Soho settees.
Minimum design is a 3D printing studio founded in 2016 by Philippe and Mélisande, born in 1988 and 1990 respectively. Far from being a simple production technique, 3D printing reshapes the very spirit of design, imposing new constraints at the heart of which is born a singular freedom and innovation. Moving with unequalled rapidity from the idea to the object, we work on detail and texture with a precision that owes nothing to the human hand. The material used, a mixture of recycled wood and bioplastic, either black or natural in colour, provides a simple elegance which respects the environment. This ecological conscience is constitutive of 3D printing which, instead of removing materials, adds them, thus limiting the generation of offcuts. Fluid, sculpted lines, minimalist geometries, our studio wants to return to the very essentials of design: an accessible object which adds something to the everyday without degrading it, the essential characteristics of beauty.
Studio Désormeaux/Carrette is a design studio which was founded by Nathanaël Désormeaux and Damien Carrette in January 2014. Specialising in industrial design, its vocation is to create objects suitable for series production. Today, the studio works with a range of clients from start-ups to prominent brands in the retail furniture and objects markets. Passion for materials and an instinctive understanding of what an object is meant to convey are fundamental to our creative approach. Deconstruction is at the centre of our design methodology. By taking apart and rethinking an object holistically, we reveal its technical heart. Thus our work consists of beautifying technicality with a view to not only integrating but also transcending it so that it becomes an object’s aesthetic heart. Through this prism, our studio seeks to question current production methods and to imbue industrial objects with poetry. DESJEUX DELAYE is an interior architecture and design agency founded by Dorothée Delaye and Daphné Desjeux. This duo dreams up almost masculine decorative schemes with sharp, clean lines. They love to mix genres and eras so that spaces do not become ‘fixed’. The heritage of each place inspires them to fashion a unique atmosphere without limiting themselves: infinite detail, a monumental object, measure and excess. Their former lives in the media taught them to think of spaces as stages on which stories can be related. Designers, craftsmen, graphic designers and architects come together and work with the same expectation: never sacrifice their ideas for the sake of trends. Desjeux Delaye never loses sight of its ambition to imbue all its forms with a spirit of chic informality. Their agency specializes in the hotel industry and has been working on a range of projects since 2018: a hotel in Formentera and two hotels in Paris, two high-end apartments also in Paris and multiple product projects such as an eponymous collection of lighting, sold in Bon Marché and produced by MR Agency, and a range of furniture for Versant.
Nathalie Dewez lives and works in Brussels. Having graduated from the école des Arts Visuels de La Cambre in 2001, the main focus of her work is lighting design. A mélange of poetry and rigour, her chandeliers, wall lights and floor lamps are light and airy, exploiting the potential of the chosen material to the very maximum. Creating pieces such as Sol-air (a halogen light perched on a carbon fibre tube), Lamp06 (a study on the structure of a classic shade) or the Prism ceiling light with its three-dimensional frame, her hallmark is coherent lines displaying essential character. Her presence at various exhibitions and trade shows in France, Belgium, Italy, the UK and elsewhere has enabled her to enter into a wide range of collaborations, with not only architectural bureaux, but also furniture manufacturers and private projects.
Emmanuel Dietrich was born in Besançon in 1969. He graduated from the Ecole Boulle in interior architecture, and rapidly discovered his own way of working. © Dögg & Arnved Design Studio is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. An agency capable of operating in fields as varied as the design of installations, products or furniture, interior design and graphics. The creative approach of Dögg & Arnved Design is based on Scandinavian design traditions, adding modern technologies and their passion for materials and textures. Through their cultural understanding of design, personal interpretations and expressiveness, they seek to create contemporary and timeless design for all. They work to create functional, high quality products with respect for both nature and future generations, in the belief that this will bring added value to the product. Rikke Rützou Arnved A graduate (2001) of the School of Architecture of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. After her graduation she established her own design office, Ark Type, where she primarily designed furniture and indoor design. At same time she was lecturing at the DTU (The Danish Technical University, Institute of Design and Innovation). She has worked for Danish architectural studios in the fields of industrial design, lighting and interior design, it being a professional skill of hers to work in such different capacities. Since 2006 she has worked on a wide range of projects from city planning, urban design and building design competitions to furniture. It inspires her when architecture and design create an interdependence. Working with design at any level, the essence is, for her, to work in such a way as the overall project and its individual details are seen as a unified whole. Dögg Gudmundsdottir Studied industrial design at the Istituto Europeo di design, Milan, graduating in 1996. Between 1996 and 1998 she was a guest student in the glass, furniture and graphics departments of the Danish Design School. In spring 2011 Dögg attained her Masters in Design from the School of Architecture of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, her main focus being, 'New Strategies: Design management with applied sustainable Innovation'. In 2000 Dögg Gudmundsdottir established her own studio, Dögg Design, working in fields ranging from industrial design and graphics to art and installations. Dögg Gudmundsdottir's brand of design retains close links with the art world, drawing inspiration from natural materials, organic shapes and traditional craftsmanship. She believes that design and art exist in an important mutual contagious association with each other. Her work has been exhibited and published throughout the world.
Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci met at the Faculty of Architecture, Florence. In 1983, having shared not only their studies but also an intense artistic and theatrical experience, they founded their own design agency at Colle Val D'Elsa, against the romantic backdrop of the Tuscan countryside around Siena. Christened Archirivolto, this agency has concerned itself solely with industrial design since 1989. They maintain that today, true innovation is based on the use of technology and materials. Technology serves not to create an image, but to give service to the client : to be of genuine quality a good design-led product must therefore be beautiful, effective and comfortable. Besides Ligne Roset and Cinna, they collaborate with Bonaldo, Desalto and Fasem.
Paris, Tokyo, London : soujourns abroad which kick-started the career of Marie-Christine Dorner. Designer, interior architect and graduate of the école Camondo, Paris, she spent a year in Tokyo designing her first collection of furniture for Idée, before opening her first office in Paris. The sheer diversity of her projets is astonishing : amongst the best-known, the La Villa at St Germain des Prés, the restaurant de la Comédie Française, the presidential grandstand (tribune présidentielle du 14 juillet) at the top of the Champs Elysées, street furniture for the city of Nîmes, designs for le Mobilier National. A Londoner for more than 10 years, she designs and fits out ambassadorial residences for the French Ministère des Affaires Etrangères, undertakes special projects for private clients, and designs for manufacturers as diverse as Ligne Roset, Montis, Bernardaud and Baccarat. Her collection 'Une Forme, One Shape', exhibited in 2004 in Paris, Tokyo and Kyoto, is just one demonstration of her taste for perfection. The best artisans in France and Japan made up her jewellery, objects and furniture in wood, gold, porcelain, bamboo, ceramic and composite materials. Marie-Christine Dorner has lectured in both London and France, and was awarded the Grand Prix du Design de la ville de Paris in 1995.

After graduating at the University of Amsterdam in mathematics, specialization topology, Jan van Dalfsen (1959) started studying architecture and building technique at the Polytechnic of Amsterdam while working for a building contractor. They work together but also separately for corporate and private clients on projects in furniture-, product-, interior-design and architecture. Among their clients are Calligaris, Colé Italia, Deknudt Mirrors, Driade, Estinée, Fiam Italia, Glas Italia, Ikea, TAFT Shoes, Tonelli Design. Prize: Elle Decoration Award 2003 for Best Accessory Design for Nembus vases designed for Driade. Exhibitions: in December 2003 at Yamagiwa Corporation in Japan of all the work for Driade, Design Museum Brussels. Architectural projects in the Netherlands include: apartment block and interior of a shoe shop in the center of Amsterdam, interior of a shoe shop in Almere, façade for a house and shop in Zaandam, renovation of several apartment buildings and shops in Amsterdam, new apartment block in Utrecht, villas in Schoorl and Heiloo, garden house in a garden of a canal house in the center of Amsterdam, ‘Victorie Poort’: old extensions transformed into five tiny houses in the tradition of a 'hofje' in the center of Haarlem, renovation and design of a façade and interior of IINN-sustainable beauty in Amsterdam, interior of Estinée hair salon/gallery in Haarlem. The variety of our backgrounds and the synergy it can generate, determines our designs. Also the co-operation with others, especially skilled craftsmen, is an important source of inspiration. Influenced by images from art, nature, architecture and design, often absorbed subconsciously, respecting the context of a project and giving intuition free rein while trying to surprise ourselves, we create our designs.

After their BTS in product design, Léo Dubreil and Baptiste Pilato met during their degree course at the Ecole Supérieur des Arts Décoratifs – DNSEP in Strasbourg. They presented their project, "SHELL" (renamed "Clam") at the 11th Concours Cinna révélateur de talents, winning both first prizes: both the prix du Jury and the prix du Public. A designer of both environments and objects, Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance was born in Mende, France in 1974. Raised in a creative environment, he defines his own language with the help of forms which are at once natural, flexible, organic, fluid and structured. Trained in metal sculpture (ENSAAMA), he then moved into the sphere of 'Mobilier des Arts Décoratifs'. Noé is interested in unusual projects: such as the Sketch restaurant in London, which launched his career in 2002 and earned him his first prize, Time Out’s Best Design award. He then delivered a number of major interior architecture projects, amongst which the “La Transhumance” chalet, the Air France Business Lounge and the “Ciel de Paris” restaurant. Current projects include the new interior architecture concept for the Montblanc boutiques, which will be for worldwide application, and is designing the lounge area of the #cloud.paris building as part of its refurbishment. Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance works on projects which vary in size from the very smallest to those on the grandest scale. He has designed his first line of furniture for Ceccotti, and is continuing his collaborations with the Italian manufacturers Zanotta and Tacchini. He also began working with the American manufacturer Bernhard Design, for whom he is working on a varied collection of seating and occasional tables. Luxury houses court him. Hermès has added his Sellier settee to their collection. For Saint Louis there is the prestigious Folia collection of furniture, lighting and tableware. His name is linked to the success of the One Million perfume, for which he designed the bottle. His singular approach naturally leads him to design exceptional pieces which are presented and exhibited in prominent galleries and at high-end events. Working with the Made in Situ gallery, which opened in 2020 in Lisbon, where he is based, he is building on this appetite for materials and the handmade. This is how he describes his work in his own words: "An object is naturally obliged to respond to a need, without creating others. From this absolute necessity, it must be a vehicle for meaning and emotions. This is the angle from which I approach the design of an object, using a language rather than a style, which I develop as a result of my experience. A language in a permanent state of evolution, expressed by forms and materials and inspired by my surroundings, whether natural, real or idealised, and my emotions, whether experienced or dreamt. For I sincerely believe that there are emotional threads woven between men, spaces and objects. The objects and spaces I create in symbiosis lean towards the same direction, aided sometimes by a dash of provocativeness, but always avoiding falling into the traps of gratuity and seduction."
Born into a family of industrialists and designers of contemporary furniture. Trained at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts, Lyon. Having joined the Roset Company very early on, at a time of rapid growth, he has constant access to insightful marketing and a highly capable technical team. He has responsibility for the research, development and design submissions vital to ensuring the company's brands ever-more secure positioning on the market. He designed a range of furniture for young people (chambre DN...), along with numerous upholstery models, settees and contract furniture (459 fireside chair...). With the advent in the 1960's and 1970's of new materials such as foams, quilting and thermoformed plastics, he designed a large number of pieces for the domestic market : Adria, Koufra, Kashima, Safi, Kali... ...not least the model Togo, a 'seat-cushion' which still forms part of the Ligne Roset collection today.
Born in Versailles in 1946. After a classical education, extensive travels all over the world very quickly opened my mind. A few brief, varied jobs then I spent 10 years or so working as a buyer for a company specializing in 'handcrafts from across the world'. In 1989, I founded my own company, Wood&Cane Company, the concept of which - 'creation / importation' - endured until 2011. By 2016 I was in 'active retirement', working for a number of 'dear customers' and still more than active in the fields of design and product development.
Tim Brauns and his two partners founded e27 in Berlin 25 years ago. Since then he has designed objects, taught students all over the world and realized projects in all categories of design. The idea of 'softruck' came after the birth of his son. "I bought a new sofa and I needed side tables. My son likes everything with four wheels, so I combined those elements. 'softruck' was the solution. It is useful for the living room; it does not look like a toy but my son loves to play with it."

During her Master's degree in Interior Architecture and Design, in 2021 she was invited to the Dubai World Expo 2020, as part of the "Art de Vivre à la Française" exhibition in the French Pavilion. She created a display where three brands were highlighted: Bernardaud, Christofle and Baccarat. Undoubtedly happy when she blossoms during her travels and eager to follow her adventure spirit, she makes the choice, after her graduation, to leave for Indonesia. Eight months later, she has made enriching new discoveries, at the crossroads of other cultures and know-how, more artisanal, closer to natural environments.

The studio works for various companies such as: Antoniolupi, Bitossi, Castelli, Crassevig, Desalto, de Sede, Franke, Jacuzzi, Living Divani, Poltrona Frau and many others. We work to create products that are timeless and transcend passing trends. Balance is a principle goal in our global concept. Our products are a result of the technical, aesthetic and functional solutions we use in designing them. We aim for perfection, with the subtlety that defines our approach, attitude and orientation, and is one of our distinguishing features.

Born in 1991, Constance Frappolli graduated in interior architecture and design from the école Camondo in 2016. She now lives in Paris, where she works on a range of projects as part of a design studio. In her own projects, she seeks to use the object to tell a story in which shapes, materials and function are at the service of the environment. Focussing her work on a search for balance between functionality and emotion, Constance confers on her pieces a poetic, practical nature in which forms and materials tell a story. With a love for playing with glimpses, ironies, metaphors and images, Constance construct her design around recognisable realms. Her rug, Mémoire d'une Trame, signals her first collaboration with Ligne Roset.

Designer Pierre Guariche was born in 1926. He studied at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, graduating in 1949. He then worked in the studio of Marcel Gascoin and presented his first designs at the Salon des Artistes Décorateurs and the Salon des Arts Ménagers. In 1953, he designed the mythical « Tonneau » chair for Steiner, first in plastic (1953) and then in bent plywood (1954). In 1954 he founded the Atelier de Recherche Plastique with Joseph-André Motte and Michel Mortier. In 1957, he was named Artistic Director of furniture manufacturer Meurop. He then shared his knowledge with the students of the Ecole Supérieure d’Architecture de Tournai and the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris. He knew how to bring a personal, innovative touch to design, combining aestheticism and series production. His heart’s desire was to respond to the requirements of his era by making use of series production techniques. His creations, such as the Tonneau chair (1953 and 1954), the Tulipe chair (1956) and the Président desk (1961), have become legendary pieces.
guggenbichlerdesign… loves to create and design furniture and products with clear elegance, timeless simplicity and independent character for wonderful environments. Harald, born in Klagenfurt in Austria, and Heike, born in Vienna, founded the industrial design studio located in Vienna in 2004. Ever since they jointly design living, contract and office furniture, for in- and outdoor use and cooperate with international well known companies such as Tonon, Fermob, Crassevig, Neudörfler, Rossin, … and Ligne Roset. Both started with very different types of education: Harald is a graduated designer and a skilled master carpenter. Heike studied business administration with a main focus on advertising and market research. Now they unite knowledge of marketing with experience, technical know-how and an organic-emotional feeling for materials, function and aesthetics. The process of design is complex like creating a symphony. It requires sensitivity, intuition and experience: a little bit of this and that, mixed to a perfect whole - something significant, delightful and sustaining. For guggenbichlerdesign… the cooperation with Ligne Roset, an extraordinary family run company with long tradition, intensive handcrafting experience and a wide variety of design classics, represents something very special.

BIOGRAPHIE After product design studies and working for Benjamin Hubert Meike Harde started her business in 2013 with the participation at several design-talent shows. She is inceasingly active for international brands like Freistil Rolf Benz, Bolia, Puplo and many more. The 1987 born Meike Harde works and lives in Cologne. DESIGN APPROACH / INSPIRATION "lamp name" is a result of experimenting with paper models and the variation of cones. Attached to an elegant stand the shade starts linear on the top but ends in a circle. This transition causes soft waves in the outline and generates an overall smooth and friendy feeling.
Sebastian Herkner (born 1981) studied Product Design at HfG Offenbach University of Art and Design. During his studies he began to focus on designing objects and furniture, honing his keen feel for materials, colors and textures. For a short while he then worked for Stella McCartney in London. In the year 2006 Sebastian Herkner founded his own studio. Since that time, he has designed furniture, lamps and smaller items for manufacturers such as Ames, and Tradition, Cappellini, ClassiCon, Dedon, Ligne Roset, Linteloo, Moroso, Pulpo, Rosenthal, Thonet, Wittmann and Zanotta. Herkner also works on interior architecture projects and museum and exhibition design. His works have won numerous accolades – among others the IF Award, the Iconic Award and the Elle Deco International Design Award (EDIDA). As Guest of Honour at imm cologne 2016, Sebastian Herkner provided the design for “Das Haus”. In 2019, Maison&Objet elected him “Designer of the Year”. An unconditional love for traditional craftsmanship paired with a good feel for new technologies, a true flair for colour, authentic materials and textures, an unadulterated curiosity for different cultures, for embracing and integrating them, and a commitment to taking responsibility for the things and people one works with, not to mention consideration and respect for all of the details and steps necessary to create an extraordinary object...: Since the success of the Bell Table for ClassiCon in 2012, Sebastian Herkner has never looked back, whilst remaining true to his word – and himself. Balance and intuition are important and enduring factors in his work, which he sees as a continuous dialogue that straddles the disciplines: It takes him to the far corners of the world in search of almost forgotten crafts techniques, of factories that have a tradition going back centuries, to the crafts Sleeping Beauties of the craft world that he can awaken from their slumbers. In the process he creates not just chairs, sofas, lamps, tables, vases and carpets, but an entire cosmos that shines a new light on how objects can appeal to the senses, and where beauty is cultivated from within the process itself and from his empathy towards people.

Design studio kaschkasch was founded in 2011 by florian kallus and sebastian schneider. the duo works in furniture, lighting design and art direction for several national and international clients. being a duo, collaboration is a crucial aspect of kaschkasch’s work. discussion is key. kaschkasch approaches design as a helpful and practical component of life that conveys character and attitudes through the expressiveness of restraint. basing themselves on this approach to design, kaschkasch wields a characteristic formal language that is inherently present in each design: it is a symbiosis of straightforwardness and beauty that toes the line between function and formal severity. the results are modest, challenging, intelligent and logical. kaschkasch questions prevailing norms and offers new answers to existing everyday demands. florian kallus and sebastian schneider share a background that combines hands-on and academic education: both are trained as cabinet makers followed by studies in product design. this versatility informs everything kaschkasch does. the studio appreciates the hands-on insight, practice and technical understanding, which contributes to their design method: traditional craftsmanship techniques and a mindset geared towards innovation, disruption and new technological solutions.

The day I left for Vietnam, I had no idea that I was about to begin an entirely new career' I left the United States at the age of 24, hoping to discover new horizons - and, impressed by the country, I decided to remain in Vietnam. In 1999 I met Michel Kuehne, a young Swiss entrepreneur based in Saigon and the founder of Wetter Indochine, a business specialising in lacquered goods. We were brought together by our mutual love of Vietnam, and of design. We soon found an interesting and enthralling way of showing the world the talent of Vietnamese artisans which combines colour, Western design, and quality.

Born in 1997 in Rennes and trained as an interior designer. Vital Lainé founded his design studio in 2021, in which he develops and creates furniture and objects dedicated to the living spaces. Attentive to the impact of his creations, he pays particular attention to the material, with which he tries to develop an esoteric exchange, during the design process. From the listening of the material to the production of the object, the model and the drawing, integrate his creative process and play an important role in the development of his projects. Creating objects halfway between the usual and the sculptural, his singular approach to design allows him to offer a brutalist, yet sensitive vision of each object. Industrial product, small series or unique pieces, the formal simplicity of his pieces offers an elementary functionality to his creations.

Mauro Lipparini's intensive activities in the field of industrial design encompass furniture for both home and office, textiles and other products created for numerous companies in Europe and Japan. In terms of architecture and interior design, he focuses mainly on residential and commercial buildings such as corporate headquarters, showrooms, shops, restaurants and exhibition spaces. In addition, he designs and produces advanced image and corporate identity systems ranging from graphics to editorial services and production. The style of Lipparini, based on pared-down forms and clear, vigorous lines, the characteristics of natural minimalism, is heavily influenced by gaiety of spirit, and an intoxicating sense of aesthetic pleasure and creativity. Through the free use of colours, organic frameworks and original visual ideas, Lipparini broadens the palette of minimalism by converging instantaneousness and the power of this aesthetic quality in new era of maturity and a sense of wellbeing. For Mauro Lipparini, design is the inevitable tension between aesthetics and function, art and application. He enables a product to become both agreeable and intriguing, a functional or superfluous object to be transformed into one charged with aesthetic sense and semantics, thus enriching the domestic landscape. He enables a space or its ergonomy to come alive with an ever-new relevance. Design engenders desires which will improve the quality of life, it enables us to view progress with increased involvement, it renders the understanding of function and therefore the perception of one's habitat both passionate and agreeable. Design is not the application of form like make-up, it is the object in itself, it is the tradition, the culture which enables people to have more or less indirect contact with the intellectually avant-garde by democratising art. It can be more or less poetic, constructive and considered, but it must always push the very limits of risk by forgetting habits and customs. These considerations form the base of my work and, through simple, vigorous lines, graphic abstractions, compositions and purely geometric decompositions, I am ever on the trail of beauty and pleasure with a view to allying form and function. A natural minimalism of pared-down forms, paying particular attention to materials, colours, surfaces, to thick and thin, light and shade.

Teddy Moissant is a designer of objects, furniture and lighting based in Strasbourg. He is very sensitive to the exploitation of short circuits and the sustainability of the local craft scene. He believes in sharing knowledge, skills and developing networks. He is constantly looking for new techniques or technologies in order to create objects in self-production (use of FabLabs). A graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Rennes, he also developed skills of the School of Decorative Arts in Strasbourg.
Philippe Moine is full of sincerity and humanity, deeply anchored in an approach where man is at once the source and the end purpose of his creativity. A sensitive lover of pictorial art and sculpture, he is nourished by the inexpressible which is illustrated through pared-down lines, emotions emanating from a sketched-out movement. Philippe Moine was born in the Seventies in St Etienne, a town recognised by Unesco since 22nd November 2010 as one of a network of 'villes créatives Design'. Was this an omen? A childhood lover of Lego, Meccano and carpentry sets, he very quickly showed a marked leaning towards a career in which the process of construction and woodworking would satisfy his appetite for creation. His first cabinetmaking courses confirmed his particular attraction to this career path, where wood enabled him to give shape to his ideas with great ease. Ideas, his head was full of them ! To help them gush out, he signed up with the école Boulle, Paris where he learned to master the movements and skills which would enable him to craft wood, metal and fabric with both quality and genius. With a degree in Interior Architecture under his belt, he then went on to specialize in Industrial Design at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs de Paris: a course with the educational mission of providing artistic, scientific and technical training in all spheres of the decorative arts. At the same time, Philippe Moine joined the design team at Renault: plunging into such a hotbed of creativity was a catalyst for him. The designers, from the best schools in the world, were young like him; the multicultural nature of the team and the means laid at their disposal enabled them to produce designs of limitless creativity. This experience, coupled with his talent, was to open the doors of various design agencies, where he became known for his striking creations. Philippe Moine opened his own studio in 1996 and now divides his time between industrial design, which he has been developing more broadly for a number of years, and 'le Mobilier de Création'. > Industrial design is a field in which he knows how to make the best use of his achievements whilst adhering to a set of specifications which have been scrupulously defined by issues relating to business, the market, the production process, the user...his expertise in this field is acknowledged, his creations arresting. il maîtrise des réalisations en adéquation avec un cahier des charges scrupuleux défini par une problématique d'entreprise, de marché, de fabrication, d'utilisateur... > Le Mobilier de Création is his secret garden where he designs exceptional pieces. Unique items of furniture worked in a single material or in a range of material types, a harmonious marriage of wood, metal or glass. > Graphic and spatial design are areas in which he plunders the very DNA of the business, offering sensory voyages using forms, images, materials and colours whilst remaining true to simplicity and clarity. As the town of Saint-Etienne was making design one of its axes for economic recovery, Philippe Moine came together with two other local designers to found the collective DESIGNERS+ in 2007. Today, this collective is a veritable platform for design and development, aiding the region's economic players by making design an innovative lever for the whole area. Today, Philippe sits on both the management committee and the Design & Industries commission.

Born in Belgrade in 1973, she graduated from the Ecole d’architecture Paris la Villette in the year 2000. Ana Moussinet has worked in her studio, ANA MOUSSINET INTERIOR DESIGN, since 2012. Liberated and inspired, Ana Moussinet owes her expertise to her architectural degree from the Beaux-Arts de Paris and to the professional path she has taken. Design as an art form, technique as a foundation, to her, volume is a material to be sculpted, to be adorned before being inhabited. Her Slavic origins inspire her on a daily basis and give her approach a sensitive, lively twist. An architect, she sculpts spaces of all sizes. From an 180-bedroom 5* hotel on the other side of the world to the identity of a boutique located a few steps from her studio in the Le Marais district, to the design of a jewel-like light, Ana devotes the same level of enthusiasm and the same expertise to each project. A stylistic vocabulary which interweaves French elegance with contemporary design and Slavic joie de vivre, from which Ana draws the necessary inspiration to sketch out the features of each interior, making it a unique piece, at the service of both sponsors and users.
Thomas Müller : born in 1959. Studied at the Akademie der bildenden Künste, Stuttgart and the Royal College of Art, London. Has shared a design bureau with Jörg Wulff since 2001. Jörg Wulff : born in 1968. Studied at the Hdk Berlin, the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Berlin and the Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design. The focus of our inspiration, our lives and our work is Berlin. Architecture, interior architecture and design are our working priorities. The aesthetic quality of our creations is defined through the search for balance between creative restraint and the communication of the main concept. The starting point of all our creations is a substantial story as the leitmotif of creation. The opportunity for change, for an experience, for a memory, amongst many others, show the emotional side of a product. This is how furniture communicates to us over and above its pure function.

Jean-Philippe NUEL comes from a family of architects whose passions are design and contemporary creation. He gained his architectural diploma at the Paris fine art school (Ecole des Beaux-Arts) and soon won recognition after winning an international competition presided over by Kenzo Tange. Shortly afterwards, he realises an overall project of architecture and decoration for a Parisian hotel. After this first commission, many other boutique hotel projects followed, both in Paris and elsewhere in France: LE VICTOIRE OPÉRA, LA VILLA ST GERMAIN, L'HOTEL THÉRÈSE, LE GÉNÉRAL, LE DUO, the REGENT PETITE FRANCE in Strasbourg or the JIVA HILL PARK HOTEL, near Geneva and soon the hotel LE GRAND BALCON in Toulouse. Since these, many major hotel chains have called upon his services, including SOFITEL (Budapest and Paris La Défense), HILTON (Evian and Malta) and CLUB MEDITERRANEE (Peisey Vallandry). Other projects are in progress with LE MERIDIEN (Paris Etoile, Brussels and Dubai), RADISSON (Nantes), WESTIN (Aqaba in Jordan) and also TAJ HOTEL (India), MARRIOTT (Marrakech) and two cruiser ships for the Compagnie des Iles du Ponant. The studio is currently working in Japan, in the Middle East and, of course, in Europe, on hotel projects, private houses, spas, concept stores and restaurants.
Numéro111 is composed of three separate individuals, Sophie Françon, Jennifer Julien and Grégory Peyrache. Childhood friends from St-Etienne, the trio studied separately - at the Ecole supérieure d'Art et de Design de Saint-Etienne and the Ecole nationale supérieure d'Architecture de Saint-Etienne - then embarked on solo apprenticeships before coming together again to found Numéro111 in 2010. They proclaim a global dialogue-based approach which is not limited to a single scale or discipline. The team comes together to work on a variety of projects in the fields of objects, furniture, architecture, interior design and scenography. Appreciative of forms and materials, Numéro111 questions and invites, through its creations, a reflection on use which arises from the three distinct characters' transversal view of our daily lives.

During the 1990's, we were both attracted by the energy of the formerly divided Berlin, absorbing creative young people from all over the world. In 1996, amidst an atmosphere of constant change and seemingly endless possibilities, we started to study at the University of Fine Arts, Berlin. Though coming from different backgrounds, we soon started to collaborate - and this collaboration soon turned out to be an amazing kind of teamwork, achieving results well beyond our individual capacities. In 1998 we founded the design studio 'wunschforscher' (roughly translated as 'desiresearchers'), creating objects between design, innovation and art. The most famous works from this period are the 'SushiRoller' and the 'top.table'. At the same time we produced scenography and visual concepts for fashion shows, events and parties, amongst others for MTV Designerama On Stage and Adidas Originals. In 2005 we founded 'osko+deichmann', with the aim of making straightforward objects which nevertheless have an additional layer, or else tell a story. In 2006 we designed the PONTON low table for Ligne Roset. One year later the ABYSS light by Kundalini and the CLIP CHAIR by MOOI were presented at the Salone di Mobile, Milan. In autumn 2007 the PEBBLE collection of seating was launched by elmarflötotto. The designs of 'osko+deichmann' have been shown at the musée du Louvre (Paris), the Vitra Design Museum Weil am Rhein (Berlin), Cube Gallery (Manchester), MoMA (Berlin), Deutsche Guggenheim (Berlin), Galerie VIA (Paris) and 107 Rivoli (Paris).
