Shibori Rug

Shibori is inspired by the Japanese resist-dyeing technique, which involves folding and knotting the fabric before dyeing to create random patterns, as if drawn by water and hand, never identical. Interpreted through hand-tufting, the rug reveals soft, deep shapes, where beige, brown, and chocolate hues diffuse in subtle gradations. The pattern seems to breathe, oscillating between control and freedom, and evokes the poetry of "shibori": a beauty born from gesture, chance, and the moment. Tuft height: 13 mm. Not suitable for underfloor heating. Rug for domestic use. The Shibori Rug is hand-tufted - made of 100% New Zealand wool.
