Conseil Dining chair

The Conseil range is one of Pierre Guariche's most structured and coherent designs for Meurop. Designed to be versatile, economical to produce, comfortable, and modern, it perfectly reflects the ambition to democratise quality furniture in the 1960s. Its diversity (chair, carver chair, fireside chair, desk chair) makes it a complete range suitable for all living and working environments.

Characteristics

STRUCTURE
Seat, back, and footstool made of moulded beech plywood shells. Armrest structure made of MDF and particleboard. Clad in polyether foam and 110 g/m² polyester quilting.
Feet in Ø18 mm steel tubing, polished chrome or satin black epoxy lacquer.

COMFORT
the seat and back are made of high-resilience Bultex polyurethane foam (48 kg/m³ – 7.1 kPa, and 42 kg/m³ – 4.8 kPa). The armrests are made of high-resilience Bultex polyurethane foam (42 kg/m³ – 4.8 kPa).

MAKING-UP
seat and back cover panels are clad in 110 g/m² polyester quilting, using single-needle stitching. Covers may be removeable by a professional.
