Élysée Pedestal table with two surfaces elephant lacquer

Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1971 for the dining room of the Elysee Palace. Now offered in 2 versions (2 and 3 tiers). Originally intended for a dining room, they could equally be used as occasional tables, sofa end tables, bedside tables...for any room in the house. Surface tops in bevelled MDF (diameter 19 3/4'' or 15 3/4''), linked with aluminum lacquered formed tubing. The entire piece is given a monochrome treatment, with the monogram of Pierre Paulin applied to the underside of the upper surface.
