Élysée 3-tier pedestal table elephant lacquer

Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1971 for the dining room of the Elysee Palace. Originally intended for a dining room, they could equally be used as occasional tables, sofa end tables, bedside tables...for any room in the house. Surface tops in bevelled MDF (diameter 19 3/4" or 15 3/4"), linked with aluminum lacquered formed tubing. The entire piece is given a monochrome treatment, with the monogram of Pierre Paulin applied to the underside of the upper surface

Characteristics

Designed by Pierre Paulin in 1971 for the dining room of the Elysee Palace. Now offered in 2 versions (2 and 3 tiers). Originally intended for a dining room, they could equally be used as occasional tables, sofa end tables, bedside tables...for any room in the house. Surface tops in bevelled MDF (diameter 19 3/4'' or 15 3/4''), linked with aluminum lacquered formed tubing.
