Daniel Debiasi & Federico Sandri

Daniel Debiasi graduated in Industrial Design from Politecnico di Milano, and Federico Sandri graduated in Industrial Design from IUAV University of Venice. After working in various design studios in Milan, Italy, and London, UK, Debiasi and Sandri founded their eponymous design studio in 2010.Based in Bergamo and Bolzano, Italy, they work in industrial design, interior design, and creative direction. Their collaboration evolves through continuous dialogue, enriched by careful observation of spaces and aspects of contemporary living. Experimentation with materials and processes, combined with the interplay between industrial production and craftsmanship, forms the basis of their approach leading them to consider each project as part of a larger context. The constant search for balance between silentness and expressiveness is the guiding thread of their designs. Their studio has created work for renowned clients such as Antoniolupi, Lema, Ligne Roset, Normann Copenhagen, Offecct, Rosenthal, Stelton, and Villeroy & Boch. Their works have received numerous international design awards such as the German Design Award and the iF Design Award, while some of their most iconic designs have been displayed in museum sand exhibitions around the globe. In addition to their work as designers, they regularly teach and hold workshops and lectures at various institutions and universities.
