Robin Rug gris lumiere

It's the first time that the designers who are members of Numéro 111 are working on a rug. They interpreted the material while conceiving reliefs by working with texture and in this way created a landscape inspired by images of Google Earth. The idea is to create a space within a space, an exterior inside of an interior, with a feeling of traveling. The rug becomes a domestic landscape. The appearance is graphic, the monochrome reveals nuances depending on the light, and the interpretation is abstract or figurative. Rug 100% wool, hand tufted plain Gris Lumière #42 (corresponds to the color of pompom rings). The pattern of the rug is created by the presence of different heights and finishes of the tufts: bouclette, shaved and chiselled.
