Chape&Mache is the creative partnership of Aurélie Chapelle (born 1986) and David Machado (born 1984). Having graduated with honours from the école supérieure des beaux arts d’Angers in 2011, their collaboration really began in 2013, under the name Chape&Mache.
Their work is symbolic and full of imagery drawn from observations of daily life, perpetual interaction and the blending of their two worlds.
They approach numerous fields through singular pieces which question collective or individual practices.
Each new Chape&Mache project is a piece of creative alchemy.
