Backpack, the collection of seating designed by the LucidiPevere design studio, has a brand new look. Now with lesser dimensions than it had at its first outing in 2017, it is available in an indoor or outdoor version. Consisting of a 2-seat settee, armchair and footstool, this collection makes a real design statement. There is a complementarity between the various materials used: the structure in charbon-lacquered aluminium and the seat covered in a technical fabric show to best effect its informal lines and welcoming, ergonomic curves. Central to this creation are the colours, always sombre, which are evocative of walks in the countryside. Finally, the soft cushions made using specific fabrics serve to augment the sense of comfort. A range which surprises as much by its simplicity, evident at first glance, as it does by its lightness, which is not only visual but also real. CONSTRUCTION Structure in charbon lacquered aluminium. When used out of doors, a 5cm channel allows water to drain away naturally rather than stagnating between the seat and back. COMFORT Cushions have a backing of technical fabric which comes into contact with the aluminium structure. Seat and back cushions in high resilience Bultex foam (38 kg/m3 – 3.6 kPa), clad in 110 g/m² polyester quilting. Outdoor version: foam and polyester quilting are held within a water-repellent fabric with soldered seams. MAKING-UP Indoor version: 4 mm piping. Outdoor version: 5 mm baguette stitch.
