For me designing is like travelling in an unfamiliar city. I have an idea about what I want to see or what I want to do, but I could also turn up in a different place than where I expected to be. Designing is a dynamic search in an uncertain setting. I follow my eyes, become aware of things that I like, and listen; I like to get lost and find new paths which could later be used for new ideas. I don't have pre-planned visions of how things should look - an idea is only the skeleton, and in this journey I connect tendons and organs to create the final form. Every object I make has its own story, its own character, its own life.
