The Elysée sofa, armchair and ottoman collection has been recreated by Ligne Roset from Pierre Paulin's archived plans. Even though the original design and volumes are scrupulously respected, the comfort of the seating has been significantly improved with the use of new existing materials and Ligne Roset's very specific know-how in the field of multi-density foams and their assembly. The compact size, the graphic pureness and the visual lightness of Elysée seating make it ideal for integrating into small spaces in city apartments. STRUCTURE Seat in strand board with 3 crossed layers and cut multiply panels overlaid with polyether foam and 100 g/ m² polyester quilting. Back in strand board with 3 crossed layers and mechanically welded steel overlaid with polyether foam and 100 g/m² polyester quilting. Lacquered MDF base with a matte black finish. COMFORT Seat with double-density high resilience polyurethane Bultex foam core (38 kg/m3 / 3.6 kPa and 32 kg/m3 / 2.5 kPa) and Bultex comfort layer (38 kg/m3 - 2.3 kPa) overlaid with 100 g/m² polyester quilting. Back suspension with elastic webbing and Bultex (26 kg/m3 / 1.4 kPa) foam overlaid with 100 g/m² polyester quilting. STITCHING / COVER Seat and back design highlighted by double-needle overstitching. Model with fully removable cover with Velcro strips. HARMONY Single-color model available in fabric and in hide. If the Elysée model was covered with grey fabric, colored woolens would also bring their light and cheerfulness.
