Q: Does ligne roset recycle waste and use recyclable materials?
Waste management is clearly an integral part of our approach to sustainable development. The personnel employed in the Company's factories are extremely conscious of this issue.
Reducing Amounts of waste
With constant and considerable effort we have also succeeded in reducing the amounts of waste we produce year on year. We reduced waste from 500 tonnes of recycling in 2001 to 300 tonnes in 2006.
Materials we recycle:
- Neon tubes, printer cartridges, batteries
- Cardboard and similar – all our packaging is stamped with the 'recyclable' logo
- Polythene packaging film and polystyrene
- Metals (inc aluminium)
- Industrial cleaning cloths (which is regularly analysed to check that it contains no toxic substances).
